Photography isn't just about taking pretty pictures - it's about telling your story in a way that feels true to you. From our very first conversation to the final delivery of your gallery, my goal is to make you feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated every step of the way.
Here's what you can expect
- Connection First: Before we ever meet with a camera, I want to get to know you. Once you inquire, I'll send over all the details you need - from pricing and availability to what kind of session would best suit you. We'll chat about your vision, your style, and anything special you want to incorporate. I believe photography is a collaboration, and I want you to feel fully heard and involved from the beginning.
- A Calm, Natural Approach: I'm a natural light photographer who believes the best moments aren't posed; they're lived. During your session, you can expect gentle direction without stiff posing. I'll guide you into natural movement and moments that bring out your genuine connection, whether you're laughing with your partner, walking with your kids, or stepping into your next big chapter.
- Comfort is Key: Not sure what to do with your hands? You're not alone - and I've got you. My sessions are relaxed and fun (it is not uncommon to hear me laughing at myself), with plenty of movement and prompts to keep things flowing. I create a space where you can breathe, be yourself, and let your guard down. Because when you feel comfortable, the magic unfolds naturally.
- After your session: Once we wrap, I begin carefully curating and editing your gallery. You'll receive a full collection of beautifully edited images that reflect the light, warmth, and emotion of your session. Galleries are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks. You'll receive a private online gallery where you can download your images, share with your loved ones, and order prints if you like.
- More than Photos: Whether we're documenting a milestone or a simple everyday session, I want your photos to feel like you. Honest. Joyful. Timeless. The kind of image that still make you feel something years from now.

FAQ
01. How do i reserve a photo session date?
A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at time of booking to reserve your date. Please note, the Senior Seasons package requires a downpayment of 50% due at time of booking with the remaining 50% due before the first scheduled photoshoot. All deposits are nonrefundable. I use Session to send out all contracts and collect payments. I accept all major credit cards.
02. Do you travel?
Yes! And No. It depends on the package booked for your session. I will travel for any session package that is 60 minutes or longer. Please note: locations further than 30 minutes away from South Valpo will automatically incur a travel fee of $100.
03. What if I need to reschedule after I've booked?
If you’re rescheduling your photo session due to inclement weather (actively raining or storming), we will work to find a date close to your original booking date! Every client session is given one free re-schedule (if that reschedule is due to inclement weather or emergency).
If the session is rescheduled a second time, my booking system will automatically bill the client a $100 rescheduling fee. Each reschedule past the first free reschedule will incur a rescheduling fee.
04. How long until I get my images?
My normal timeline is 2-3 weeks. That being said, I also offer 24 hour expedited editing (on request for an additional fee of $100). With this add-on, you can receive your fully edited gallery within twenty-four hours of the end of your photoshoot! Ready to print, share, and post! This can be added at time of booking or even up to 48 hours before the photoshoot.
